Names of the Week – Bonnie & Lincoln

This weeks names are:
Bonnie & Lincoln

Bonnie –  a name that is often associated with Bonnie Parker, who was part of the infamous Bonnie and Clyde outlaw duo.  That association aside, Bonnie is a sweet little Scottish name that means “beautiful”. This name gained attention after the release of the epic novel “Gone With the Wind” in which Scarlett and Rhett have a daughter who goes by the nickname “Bonnie Blue”.

Lincoln rich in history, the name Lincoln definitely reminds me of the 16th U.S. President, Abraham Lincoln.  Lincoln is quickly rising in popularity.  It follows the trend of male names ending in the letter N, while maintaining a sturdy, patriotic sound.   Lincoln is a cool mix of a grounded and a modern name.
