I’m part of a wonderful group called The Name Sisters.
We do monthly live shows covering an array of Name Related Topics.
We’ll be live this Sunday, September 7th
@ 2:30pm PST/ 5:30pm EST.
Just for fun, I thought I’d play a little rename game and
rename my fellow Name Sisters!
Rebe (Rebecca) – Rebe is so cool & always ahead of the trend! I could see her with a hip, unisex name. I’d rename her Sutton.
Sutton is an English name meaning, “from the southern homestead”.
Ren – Ren an All-American girl-next-door. I think she could carry a spunky, sweet name like Tessa.
Tessa is an English name that comes from the name Theresa meaning, “to harvest or to gather”.
Kristen (Kris) – Kris is sassy, inquisitive, and loves unisex names. I think she could pull off a place name, so I’d rename her Holland.
Holland is a place name naming “wooded land”.
Amelia – Amelia loves fashion, writing, and literature. She’s fond of the name Silvia, which I think suit her perfectly!
Silvia is a Latin name meaning “from the forest”.
Meagan – Hey, that’s me! If you couldn’t tell I’m going off the order in the picture above. I love classic, old-fashioned names so I’d rename myself Rose.
Rose is an English flower name. I’m a tulip girl at heart, but I do love many flowers & many flower names 😉
Aléna – Aléna is a walking baby name book. She’s a brave namer and knows so much about names! I’d rename her Georgiana. I love the literary tie and if anyone can pull off this name it’s Aléna!
Georgiana is an English variation of George meaning, “farmer”.
Alexia – Alexia is a natural leader and lover of Biblical names. We share a passion for The Anne of Green Gables Series, so I’d name her Blythe.
Blythe is an English name meaning, “happy”
Sutton, Tessa, Holland, Silvia, Rose, Georgiana, & Blythe –
