The Garden of Eden

EdenQuite possibly my favorite place name, Eden is a Biblical name for the garden of Eden.  It is Hebrew in origin and means “place of pleasure” or “place of delight”.  Although Eden is more popular as a female name it is unisex. A short, sweet little name, Eden doesn’t need a nickname, although I do love the idea of using Edie “E-dee” as a nickname for Eden.

SilasDerived from the Greek name, Silvanus, meaning “wood, forest”.  Part of the trend of vintage names that have made strong comebacks, Silas is actually now more popular than it’s ever been in the United States! Silas is both a Biblical name and a Pop Culture favorite. Another cool little fact is that Silas begins and ends in the letter S!
